Optical Seed Sorting Device LEO‐300D3F/600D3F
It is really difficult to perform the selection in the conventional, colour-based sorting mechanism. However, now, the removal of defective seeds can be done automatically by utilising the optical sorting system which is equipped in the high-speed image processing function.
With the latest image processing hardware and algorithm which are specifically developed for seed sorting, it can handle the continuous, mass-processing seed sorting operation which can be found in a place like seed sorting facility.

Optical Sorting Device LEO‐300DB
It is the world-first, optical sorting device that can take transparent photograph of the beans. With the conventional bean sorting device, it is difficult to detect the bean abnormality by only judging on its appearance. Accordingly, we have developed a sorting device which make it possible to detect the abnormality in the interior of the beans and then remove it.
We can confirm the bean abnormality in order that the beans carried by belt conveyor are exposed by a special light source and the transmitted light in internal beans are imaged and processed.
The abnormal bean is then removed by the air gun mechanism.
